Photography is an incredible skill, a gift really, especially in sports photography when ‘the snapper’ must capture the moment. I first got to know Jennifer when she captured one such moment ahead of the Commonwealth super-lightweight championship between Scotland’s Jason Easton and Glenn Foot when the Beast from the East was raging in March 2018. At boxing weigh-ins your stereotypical pic is of the boxers in stare-down mode or posing with a fist in the air, but Jen had captured Glenn in mid-scream, his face contorted with aggressive intent.

It began a five-year association and friendship as Jen continues to capture the big and best moments inside and outside the boxing ring, her skills can be evidenced by the fact she has been at ringside at some of the UK’s biggest fight nights of recent years.
